I know it has been a while since I said I would catch everyone up.
I will start at the begining of insane summer.
We had the amazing opportunity to go to Florida for 10 days on our own. After moving from the apartment to the house we packed up and headed down south.
We stayed in a fun little condo that is part of the Military Travel club. We get a discounted rates for hotels/resorts. Kinda like a time share.
So once we got settled in our lovely little condo we headed to the coast to enjoy some kayaking and the ocean. We had found a tour company that took you out and showed you the area and told you info. We love kayaking and it was probably Trav's favorite thing we did.
So once that fun was over then it was my turn. I convinced Travis to take me to Medeval Times dinner and show. You know me and that I am obsessed with horses so we gotta do something with them. It was an awesome show and great that we were able to see the show together. This location is kinda special with the Medeval Times franchise. They have a medeval village with several historical displays. So needless to say we had a blast and even learned a gew things. They even announced our names as celebrating our anniversary (2 months early).
The next day we headed off to our next adventure. We started our park seeing trip by heading off to Universal Studios. We had a blast exploring the sights and enjoying the rides. We loved the Harry Potter section. It was amazing how much they made it look like the movie. The whole park was tons of fun and totally wiped us out.
The next day we started our Disney park spread. We started at Epcot. We love this park since we there are so many different countries to visit. We love discovering new foods and exploring the history of other countries. It was beautiful cause they were having a garden festival so there were sculptures all over the park of different characters. They were all made from plants, it was amazing. So after exploring this park and watching it's incredible firework show we headed off.
We next visited Disney's Hollywood Studios, or MGM. I would have to say that this is one of our favorite parks. It has everything that we love, rollercoasters, movie facts and awesome stunt shows. The best ride out of the whole park is Tower of Terror and Rockin' Rollercoaster. We rod them each at least 6-7 times. It was awesome! We even came back another day for their fireworks and rode bothe rides several more times, yep we're crazy!!!
The last 2 parks, Animal Kingdom and the Magic Kingdom seem like such blurs. We spent full days at these two and saw tons of things. Animal Kingdom is another favorite, duh. Of course we went on the safari and went on the rollercoasters several times. Magic Kingdom on the other had is really not that magical with out kids. We have the most fun in the Adventureland, with the pirates and all. But other than that it just is not that fun as adults. The firework show at Magic Kingdom is still moving.
I loved this trip and I hope we can go again soon. I will post pics as soon as I can. Otherwise enjoy the stories.
