A New Begining

Well here we are in Des Moines Iowa. Wow who would a thought we would be here? We finished our incredibly long drive down from Alaska and now have set up home here in West Des Moines. Travis is into his 3rd week of school and is loving it. I am content with looking for a job and setting up the house. Our home is on the 3rd floor, so far we say we are never moving, of Bennett Grand Woods. It has vaulted ceiling, breakfast bar, 2 bedrooms, balcony and a HUGE bathroom with 2 sinks. We have emptied all the boxes but haven't completely decided where everything is going yet. We also have a handsome black cat named Midnight, aka Moroco (if you can think of a better name let me know). He is still getting used to the new home but is quite fun to watch. He likes to sleep sprawled on the floor on his back with is belly showing. He is a very funny boy. So the apartment is great. The church ward is good, nothing compared to the Kenai Alaska ward, people are friendly. People at school are very friendly too. Travis has made several friends that are good guys. It is a little odd not to be in the BYU atmosphere but we are copping. I am currently trying to get a job at a vet clinic as a receptionist/vet assistant. Hopefully it comes through because it is right across the street from school and I could have lunches with Trav. Well folks that is it for now. Hopefully more to come later.
