Happy Easter Everyone!!!
~Love Kadi
This month was INSANE!!! We got a little bit of snow for March but it never stayed this year. Kinda sad cause I was excited to show Kadi snow. But at the end of the month it was time to leave the cold midwest and head to Cali for a wedding! Guess Who's....Jessica's!!! Yep, she finally got married...fun times.
But before we get into those pictures just some fun pics from before Kadi and I left.
All snuggled up nice and warm...
Trying out a new friend's rocking horse. Kadi hasn't sat on one yet...she loved it.
We don't spoil our little princess at all....ok maybe a little. At least we get her things she enjoys and can use for a while. She LOVES this jumper/bouncer/whatever its called. She'll sit there for awhile and bounce and play while a get stuff done, it's AWESOME.
I told you it hasn't snowed. It's still a little chilly so we stay bundled. But hey we're back out on our walks.
Daddy sent this to me while he was getting Kadi ready for bed...I think I was at a church meeting. I love the daddy/daughter relationship they have.
So one of the new Pediatric Interns starting this July has moved with his wife and sweet daughter just down the road. Their little girl Tayvia is only a week younger than Kadi and as soon as these two met they have been inseparable. They hold hands, play awesome together, share toys and even reach for each other. It's awesome cause their LDS and in our ward and the girls can grow and play together as we finish our residency. So excited to watch this friendship grow.
Okay now for the big trip....Kadi and I flew out on our own because Travis was in the PICU and obviously couldn't take time off. So off we flew on our own....Kadi did really well considering it was just me and her. We were there for a week. It was hectic, draining, frustrating, some fun, and adventure. Needless to say I am glad it's over but miss my family.
Kadi was teething again, getting those top 2 teeth. Mom helped me find something to help her relax. We were so happy that we finally got her to relax and nap. She was much happier after that.
Just a few pics of our adventures playing at grandma's...
And then the Saturday before Easter Jessica married Scott Harris for time and ALL eternity at the Sacramento temple. She looked beautiful in the custom dress mom made and designed for her.
Mother and second daughter married. Only 2 more kids to get out of the house and married in the next...oh...10 yrs!
Kadi and I with her 2 aunts. (No pics of my family in front of the temple...I have no comment)
Believe it or not I am the oldest and shortest of all 4 kids...kind of depressing.
The next day was Kadi's FIRST Easter. So we had a photo shoot...I have to say I have one GORGEOUS baby girl!!!!
It was a fun trip overall. No we weren't excited for the wedding, no it wasn't a happy affair, and no I have no good opinion of my new brother in law.
Oh well, hopefully my sister is happy and the marriage is a happy one.
That said I am glad we got to see my family and wish that Travis was there to spend time with family as well.
