My Due Date is Tomorrow!

Boy has this week already FLOWN by.
I can't believe we have been home for a WEEK!!!
It really hasn't set in yet. I mean with Travis off work and mom here I haven't really noticed that anything has really changed all THAT much.
I am tired, sore and sleep deprived...that's really it.

We have been blessed SO much this week though. I have to say that the Med Group here is AMAZING! They have taken such good care of us. We really only had maybe 2 days that someone hasn't brought us food...and enough to feed an army too. Trev is off for a good long time and Teagan is gaining weight so I'm pretty relaxed for now.
I can tell I'm a little more sore this time although mom and Trav say that I'm moving SO much better and look so much better than last time...I guess that's good.
I already have cabin fever though. Going from super active with Kadi wanting to do everything and be everywhere to sitting on the couch nursing is kinda a shocker.

I will say this...tomorrow being my due date and Teagan being almost a week and a half already is CRAZY!
Daddy with another princess to call his.

I love taking these pictures...mid-nursing snoozes.

Kadi is in HEAVEN!!!
All she can say is "Baby sister Teagan" and smiles and giggles. She is THAT excited!
She CONSTANTLY wants to touch her head and to hold her. She was scared at first, especially to sit next to me because everyone kept telling her I had an booboo on my tummy. She is so soft and gentle though. I couldn't be more proud of her.

It was time to go home and little miss "Magoo" was already showing her true colors.

Baby Kadi
      Baby Teagan
Once home it was time for snuggles.
Can anyone find any similarities between the girls?
They BOTH have my mom's ears.
Similar noses
They BOTH have daddy's lips...
But that's all I can find...other than their AWESOME skin tone that is from Travis' side of the family FOR SURE!

I told you Kadi is in love!
This was last Sunday when we came home. Kadi couldn't wait to hold her again.
Such a proud Big Sister.

This was while Travis and Kadi were getting our weekly dose of pizza (every Friday is pizza night).
They were practicing their faces...this is SURPRISE!

We're getting to the End

So I don't have any pictures for this week...too pre-occupied.
I have been determined to get as MUCH done as possible. I has things I wanted to get done at different stages in the 3rd trimester.

Things while I could lift things...
Paint Kadi's dresser...check
Go through Kadi's boxes of clothes...check
Plant flowers and herbs...check

Things AFTER I couldn't lift things...
Finish decorating Kadi's room...check
Finish playroom alphabet...check
Finish AF board for living room...check
Fix girls curtains...check

And of course there was a list of things I didn't get to but I won't list those. So I went around trying to see what else I needed to get done.
I am feeling OK but Kadi is giving me a run for my money. There has been lots of fights for quiet time. And before you say too much I know she could start to fight against naps but I am EXHAUSTED and I need to rest.

He is a SPARTAN!!!!

We have reached the best month of the year...my birthday month! Plus I am determined to have fun this month even though I am ridiculously pregnant.
So we are Star Wars AND Star Trek fans in this house. Really if there is anything nerdy...we like it pretty much.
So with that said I REALLY wanted to celebrate May the Fourth.
So I experimented with the cookies below. They're supposed to be Stormtroopers. They look a little odd BUT the tasted AMAZING!!!

This weekend we were in Polson.
Travis and our brother in law Sean decided to do the Spartan Race in Bigfork MT. They were on a team with a friend of Sean and Brynn's. Travis has already ran 2 Tough Mudders and figured this wouldn't be TOO different...it wasn't that bad.

They had a blast...they were exhausted but very pleased with themselves.
Brynn and I left the kids with Grandma Judy and sat on the sidelines and took pictures at the obstacles we were near. I tried to stay as relaxed as I could so I had as few contractions as possible.
I only had 1-2...maybe a few more.
My goal right now is to NOT go into labor until AFTER mom gets here but to go into labor NATURALLY!

Can you believe that it's MAY?!?!

Nothing really has gone on this week.
It's strange to me that as of next week I will see my doctor every week until the baby comes. I just don't understand where the time goes. All I know is that once Friday comes around Travis and I are so ready for the weekend. I love the time that I have with my little Kadi but getting to the end of this pregnancy when the week ends I am SO ready to hand her to Travis and have some time on my own.
I am LOVING being in Montana. It's not too hot it's not too cold and the fact that we are in a smaller town is AMAZING!!! There are really only small moments where I miss Ohio.

* I miss the color changes in the spring and I'm sure I will in the fall
* I miss my friends (Michelle and Beth)...SO bad!!!!
* The thunderstorms were AWESOME!!!
* The green, oh the green hills....
And that's about it.

I do NOT miss the hustle and the bustle.
I do NOT miss the drama in the ward.
I do NOT miss the tornados.
I do NOT miss Travis' work schedule.
This list could go on, but that's ok. We are home now and that's all that matters.

It's been interesting reaching May here in Montana since we haven't been in the West in almost a decade. We've seen so many other states and so many different climates that it's nice to be back to what is familiar. It has made me sit and compare all the areas we have lived in.
I have changed over the years, in the better in my opinion. But it's nice to see that my love of the outdoors, mountains (REAL mountains), lakes, and SMALL towns haven't changed. It makes me sad that people are so unhappy in Great Falls. I wish they knew how blessed they are to live in such a lovely rural town.
I know we LOVE it!!!

This weeks ONLY picture is the one I woke up to Tuesday...PT day. Apparently Trav had a run in with the frisbee while the squadron was playing ultimate frisbee. I was worried it was a broken nose at first but it was just a cut/bruise that caused slightly black eyes.
It was a good laugh.

Picture comparison week...

I know I haven't done the whole belly picture thing this pregnancy but I figured since I am CRAZY busy with Kadi Bug I had an excuse. At least I remember when I had pictures while I was prego with Kadi so we can do the whole comparison thing.
34 wks with Miss Kadi...
34 wks with our 2nd princess...
I feel 10 times bigger this time but I can't tell if I am or not so who knows. I will say I look EXHAUSTED in the picture...oh well.

I finally am getting some of my projects finished slowly but surely. One that has been driving me NUTS is the fact that our playroom was a disorganized undecorated mess.
Well we FIXED it!!!
I have been working on the alphabet for a little over 6 months now and my mom and sister helped me finish it over spring break. I am still missing some animals to go with the letters but hey they are up and BEAUtiful!!!
The alphabet is not complete without some numbers...this was Travis' idea.
I think they turned out cute too.
I also have maps up, my old vintage My Little Ponies, my old stuffed animals, hangers for dress up clothes and an area for our season felt board that isn't finished yet. I will get a complete picture up eventually. But I have so thrilled to finally have this HUGE room done.

Kadi just wanted to say hello to you all! She LOVES having her picture taken and for the most part is such a happy girl. I LOVE my Big Girl Princess!!!!

One more Week down...

I am pretty sure Spring has Sprung here in Montana!!!
We've had a few colder days this week but for the most part the sun is shinning and is nice and warm so we can play outside as much as possible.
Which is perfect cause all I wanted to do is SCREAM this week!!!!
It's not anyones fault I am just running out of room to breathe and room to be comfortable. Kadi knows that it's hard for me to hold her and that makes her even MORE needy lately. Luckily she has friends she can play with often that can lessen the load a little.
Kadi is growing like a weed...still a light weight but TALL!
She LOVES her little friend Asher and he adores her!!! They get SO excited to see each other!
They are a year and a half apart roughly but they weigh the same and Asher comes to Kadi's shoulder, crazy!!!
I can not tell you how excited I was for Sunday to come. It marked the beginning of a new week and a restart to our routine. I'm hoping next week will be better.
We had Stake Conference this week, Kadi wasn't pleased that there wasn't nursery, but was still happy to choose her dress. Travis helped out with parking so he left 2 hrs before us. So as I was finishing getting dressed I found Kadi and her Gobi kitty like this...
Gobi was doing circles around Kadi while Kadi read her books to her kitty.
Gobi gets SO excited when Kadi decides to sit and read...I think that cat enjoys it as much as Kadi does.
It's nice to see them get along so well. Normally Kadi is chasing her through the house trying SO hard to grab her tail. It's a strange relationship what can I say.
I just hope everyone stays in a positive attitude as we head off to another week.
